The CMS

This was a collaborative project to set up and design a CMS within Microsoft Sharepoint for the dissertation process. It was a crucial CMS for the university’s school of education that had a very large EdD program and many dissertation students to manage.

The Microsoft Case Study

Due to its innovative nature and the successful results of the system, Microsoft recognized this project with a featured case study article. The article was originally published on the Microsoft website, but is available here in its encapsulated form as a PDF document.

For the Dissertation Portal, I designed graphics, implemented visual layouts, edited HTML and CSS for designs. The image above shows a screen shot of the homepage interface.

CMS Tutorials

I also created tutorial videos to teach users how to navigate the portal and use specific features.

The tutorials were created in Adobe Captivate and were published as interactive Flash presentations. They may not be viewable if you are on a mobile device.
